Globedoc Services is a privately owned travel and document support provider. We are not a government authority, and we do not grant, refuse, approve, or influence Visitor Visa or travel authorisation decisions. All decisions are made solely by the respective government authorities.

4. Independent Service Provider

Globedoc Services operates independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government department, embassy, or consulate.

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documents

  • Carefully review all application details before submission

  • Respond promptly to any requests for information

  • Comply with all deadlines set by government authorities

You acknowledge that incorrect, incomplete, or delayed information may result in processing delays or denial of your application. We do not accept responsibility for outcomes resulting from information you provide.

6. Fees, Charges, and Refunds

Our fees are provided to you clearly before payment and reflect the services we deliver, including administrative support, document preparation, and assistance with your application.

Unless specified otherwise, our fees may include relevant government charges. Any applicable taxes are not included in the displayed price and will be calculated and shown to you at the checkout stage before payment is finalised.

We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard. At present, other payment methods such as American Express, Discover, PayPal, or bank transfers are not available. Payment must be completed in full before we begin any work on your request.

All payments are processed through secure third-party providers. Although we choose reputable partners, their systems operate independently of us. As such, we are not responsible for any payment issues, including errors, delays, declined transactions, or service interruptions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Once work has started, our service fees are generally not refundable. This includes situations where we have commenced reviewing your application, preparing documents, or taking steps towards submission. This is subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

If you choose to cancel before any meaningful work has been carried out, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund. Each request is considered on its merits, taking into account the stage of the service provided.

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain services within 14 days. However, where you request immediate commencement of services and provide your consent, this right may no longer apply once the service has been fully delivered, to the extent permitted by law.

Where required under applicable law, you may be entitled to a remedy if our services do not meet the required standard. This may include a refund or other appropriate form of compensation.

Further details can be found in our Refund Policy, which is available on our website and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

As each situation is unique, we will take reasonable steps to assess your circumstances and respond in accordance with applicable requirements.

7. Processing Times and Outcomes

Processing times and decisions are controlled entirely by government authorities, including those in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. We are unable to influence application outcomes.

Delays may occur due to government workload, policy updates, security checks, or document verification processes. We do not guarantee approvals, processing timeframes, or final results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service to which the claim relates.

Globedoc Services will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses or damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of travel opportunities, loss of income, delays, missed flights, or additional costs arising from application outcomes or processing times.

All decisions relating to travel authorisations or visas are made solely by the respective government authorities. We have no control over these decisions and are not responsible for any refusals, delays, or changes to immigration or travel requirements.

Nothing in this section affects any rights or remedies that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection laws.

9. International Consumer Protection Laws and Your Rights

Australia

In Australia, consumer rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law, which provides a clear and consistent framework for fair trading. It sets out minimum standards that all services must meet, including being delivered with due care and skill, being fit for their intended purpose, and being provided within a reasonable timeframe. These standards are designed to ensure that consumers receive reliable services and are protected from misleading or unfair conduct.

When you use our services, these protections apply where relevant. If our services fall short of these standards, you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund, correction, or compensation depending on the circumstances. We do not exclude or restrict these rights and will handle any concerns fairly and reasonably in accordance with applicable law.

United Kingdom / European Union

Across the United Kingdom and European Union, consumer protection is supported by a combination of regulations, including data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as broader consumer legislation. These frameworks are designed to ensure transparency, fair treatment in contracts, and responsible handling of personal data. They also require clear disclosure of service details and pricing, and may provide consumers with a cancellation period for services purchased online.

Where applicable, you may have the right to cancel certain services within 14 days without providing a reason. However, if you choose to proceed with services immediately and confirm your request, this right may no longer apply once the service has been fully delivered, to the extent permitted by law. We aim to operate in a way that reflects these principles by providing clear information and fair service practices.

Canada

In Canada, consumer protection laws are primarily set at the provincial level, while privacy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. These frameworks focus on transparency, fair dealing, and the responsible handling of personal information. They also require businesses to clearly communicate pricing, including any applicable taxes or additional charges.

When using our services, you may have rights relating to the clear disclosure of fees, access to your personal information, and the ability to request corrections. We aim to present all costs transparently before payment and handle personal data in a manner consistent with these principles.

New Zealand

In New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 provide the foundation for consumer protection. These laws require services to be delivered with reasonable care and skill and prohibit misleading or deceptive conduct. Their purpose is to ensure that consumers can rely on the accuracy and quality of the services they receive.

Where applicable, you may be entitled to remedies if services do not meet these standards. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, or a refund. You are also protected from misleading or inaccurate representations about our services. We aim to deliver our services in a manner consistent with these legal expectations.

United States

In the United States, consumer protection and privacy obligations are governed by a combination of federal and state laws, which may vary depending on your location. Certain states, including California, provide additional protections relating to personal information and consumer rights.

Where applicable, you may have rights relating to transparency, access to your personal information, and fair treatment in your interactions with us. We aim to respect these rights and operate in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

As each situation is unique, we will take reasonable steps to assess your circumstances and respond in accordance with applicable requirements.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Compliance with Applicable Laws and Severability

Nothing in these Terms is intended to override or limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

If any provision is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it will be adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Where required by applicable law, certain provisions may not apply or may apply differently depending on your location. In such cases, applicable local laws will prevail to the extent necessary.

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

These may include government actions, changes to immigration policies, system or technical failures, natural disasters, public health events, labour disputes, or disruptions to communication or transport networks.

In such situations, we will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Payments Through Third-Party Providers

Payments are processed through trusted third-party providers to ensure security and efficiency. When making a payment, you may be redirected to a third-party platform, and the transaction will be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policies.

While we take care in selecting reliable providers, we do not control their systems and are not responsible for their performance, including any delays, errors, declined payments, or technical issues, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you encounter any issues, we encourage you to contact us so we can assist where appropriate. However, the resolution of such issues will ultimately depend on the provider’s processes.

14. Payment Information and Data Accuracy

Payment details are requested only after you have completed the necessary steps and accepted these Terms. All transactions are processed through secure third-party systems, and we do not store full card details or have direct access to sensitive financial information.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and submitted through authorised channels.

We are not responsible for delays or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you submit information on behalf of another individual, you confirm that you have obtained their consent and that they understand how their information will be used. If the individual is under 18, you confirm that you are authorised to act on their behalf.

15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
